The Writing Center
Providing Instruction, Not Correction
Providing more than a proofreading service, our tutors will work with you on a variety of logical, rhetorical, and grammatical concerns in your writing. We can assist you with any type of writing from your curriculum, from conception, to composition, to completion. Our aim is not only to help you perfect an individual essay; we want to help you develop the tools you need to become a better writer. Our service is free and, if you come with the right expectations and the willingness to participate actively in the session, extremely effective.

HOURS
We are open Monday through Thursday 9:00-8:00; Fridays we close at 3:00.
LOCATION
The Writing Center is located on the East side of Dealy Hall’s fifth floor—in the Economics Department.
RESERVING A SESSION
You may reserve up to an hour on any given day and as much as an hour and a half per week. Please do not fill spaces that span two tutors’ names. If you cannot attend your session, log on to the online sign-up site and cancel your appointment.

Walk-ins:
Walk-ins are welcome whenever space is available. If no tutor is free to help you, why not take a look at the online sign-up form? You might find an available slot that suits you.

Lincoln Center
HOURS
We have day and evening hours available. Our sign-up boards are posted two weeks in advance. Please feel free to contact us at x6417 if you have specific questions about the Center's hours.
LOCATION
The Writing Center is located in the Lowenstein Building, room 302e. We reside in one of the private study rooms. Our schedule is posted outside the Center's wall that faces the communal study area.
