Dorothy Wenzel became the Director of Student Leadership and Community Development in February 2006 after joining the staff in August 2004. She directs the Office of Student Leadership and Community Development and New Student Orientation. In addition, she is the adviser to the United Student Government at the Lincoln Center Campus. Dorothy is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Educational, Leadership, Administration and Policy at Fordham University. She received her Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University's Steinhardt School. Dorothy graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Loyola University in Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
Megan Siemers became the Assistant Director for Programming in June of 2007. She supervises the operations of social, educational, and recreational programming for student clubs and organizations. Megan also coordinates the Alcohol and other Drug Education program for the Lincoln Center Campus. Before coming to Lincoln Center, Megan was an advisor at the Rose Hill Campus for the office of Academic Advising for Student Athletes. Before her tenure at Fordham University, Megan worked for the 2006 summer at Pace University in Westchester, NY as the Director for the Student Orientation programs. She graduated from Springfield College in May 2006 with a Masters Degree in Education in Student Personnel Administration. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from University of Hartford where she held several leadership positions.
Jennifer Valdivieso, Graduate Intern for Programming
Jennifer joined staff in August 2008. A former Fordham graduate with a bachelor in arts degree, Jennifer majored in Sociology with a minor in Communications. Jennifer is currently pursuing her master's degree in the Fordham Graduate School of Social Service. She advises RISE (Raising Interests in the Social Environment) a student club that promotes social awareness issues and healthy living within and outside the Fordham Community, ISIS (In Strength I Stand) a student club that represents and advocates women equality on campus and the FACE Series (Fordham Advocates Cultural Enrichment) a series of programming that encourages diversity and teaches about different cultural backgrounds. She also assists the Assistant Director with Alcohol and other Drug Education programming.
