Fordham Women's Rugby 2007-2008

Fordham Women's Rugby began in the early '90's and has continued to grow and become a competitive team in the MET NY Rugby Union, Division 1.  We play schools in our division which include Columbia, Vassar, and Army in the fall as well as numerous tournaments and non-league games in the spring.  In 2004 women’s rugby won the title of the East Coast Rugby Women's Collegiate Champion in Philadelphia. We are also the undefeated champions of The Big Apple Tournament for the past two years. In the spring of 06 we attended the Beast of the East tournament in Rhode Island and we proved ourselves as on of the highly competitive teams in the Northeast.  The team continues to grow, and with the 100% effort and determination... along with having a lot of fun and team spirit, the team has a bright future here at Fordham.  If you are interested in hearing more about the team or interested in playing, please email wrugby@fordham.edu.
