Welcome to the Office of the Associate Vice President – Faculty Personnel Matters. We are primarily responsible for the coordination and facilitation of faculty appointment, reappointment, tenuring and promotion as well as the phased retirement program, the awarding of faculty merit and administrative stipend payments.  The Office maintains faculty files and processes faculty activity reports and adjunct faculty contracts.  Finally, the Office supports retired faculty through the counselor to retired faculty.

We provide services to students through the Rose Hill office of the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP). HEOP provides enrolled students with supportive services, including a pre-freshman summer program; tutorial services; academic advisement; career, personal, and financial aid counseling; developmental reading; and selected workshops in various academic and non-academic areas.

Finally, the Office for International Services (OIS) operates under our umbrella.  The OIS assists international faculty, staff and students with their transition to Fordham, including the processing of paperwork, the dessemination of information on life in the United States, New York City and Fordham and the coordination of activities that promote cross-cultural and international understanding.
